Stitch Markers = Art!

Look what I made from the tutorial on the "Knit Power to Peace" blog. They are little photo stitch markers. Now I know these are not pictures of my own finished projects, and I don't want to upset anyone, so what I did was I wrote the name of where I got the picture so when people ask I can tell them where to find the patterns...fun huh? The socks and the "Fuzzy Feet" are from Knitty and the little bag is from, of course, Booga J's blog, and it is called the "Booga Bag".

Here is a picture of how cute they look on my project. Now I have a little picture to show people what the project I am working on will look like when I am done!!! Posted by Hello

Well I was right...I was wrong!

I do have it inside out but I don't think I am going to worry about it. I am thinking that it will be fine after felting...Let's cross our fingers!!!

Help Me Please!!!

I think I am doing something wrong!!! Here is my first clog...this is a top view. See how it is reverse Stockinette(I think that is wrong).

Here is the work up close, on the top of the clog. Reverse Stockinette...the knit side is on the inside and the purl side is on the top.

Here is the back side of the clog. That long oval hole is what I will later stitch up to make the sole. Do you see the little bit of Stockinette stitch hanging out there....is that right?

Here is what the inside of my clog looks like. I think I may have flipped it inside out somewhere...I am not sure, can anyone help me?!?!? PLEASE!?!? Posted by Hello

Here are two pictures....they were kind of hard to take. That is the arm of my couch so you can see how big the bag is! Posted by Hello

Kool Dye Job

I just got done dying my "e-bay" wool with Kool Aid and Rit dye. My town has the worst selection of unsweetened Kool Aid I have ever seen!!! I used pink and yellow Rit and 2 colors of green, blue, and purple Kool Aid....The yarn is hanging dry in my shower right now but my husband has the digital camera so I will take pictures later tonight or tomorrow morning. I am very happy with how it all came out!!!

To felt or not to felt....to felt!

Look what I just got on E-Bay....a bunch of white wool to play with. First I am going to test it to see if it will felt (the lady that was selling it said it was the left overs from a felting project) and then I am going to dye it with kool aid and make a bag or something....something felted, I am all about felting right now. Posted by Hello

The Butterfly has landed!

I finally did it, I finished the butterfly scarf from Stitch & Bitch Nation. Because I used a different yarn then it said to use my butterfly is bit...well...HUGE!!! I still like it and I put a lot of work into it. I am proud I got it done! Posted by Hello

The Black Hat

Here is a picture of the crochet hat that I made on Sunday. My husband said that he would only model it if I would black out his eyes....goofy, huh? Here is a link to the website I got the pattern from... Crochet Hat pattern. It was super easy to do and was really quick! Posted by Hello

Sick=Knit-a-thon

My husband and I were both feeling puny yesterday, so after church we watched movies all day long. Guess what I did while I watched...that's right I knitted like a mad woman. During Apocalypse Now : Redux, I knitted on my butterfly scarf and during Mulon Rouge (we each got one pick if you couldn’t tell) I made a heathered black crochet beanie. I am wearing the beanie that I made right now as I type. I will post pictures and the link to the pattern a little later. It is super easy and whips up super fast on a size ‘N’ hook. I need to get a little house work done or I will feel completely worthless.

Mom's needle case

Here is another picture of the same needle case... the fabric is cute huh? It ties but for the picture I just had it flopped over. Posted by Hello

Needles anyone?

Here is my mom's newest knit bag. I love it I can't wait for her to make me one. We found a picture of a bag that a lady had made on e-bay and my mother copied it. She is so good. There are three sets of pockects (one is made of clear plastic) and the top folds down so nothing can fall out. Awesome! Posted by Hello

Next!

Here is the next project I want to do and probably my last scarf for a while. I am thinking knit 1 purl 1 ribbing on 15 needles! What do you think, how wide should I make it? Posted by Hello

Opps..wait I ment to do that.

Here is the last thing I am working on right now (I have to do a few things or I get bored). It is a drop stitch scarf made from Lion Brand Trellis and Trendsetters Aura. It is a little hard to see but it is really cool!

Will I ever be done?

This is the project that I am working on the most these days. It is the butterfly scarf from the Stitch and Bitch Nation book. Purling is still a little tricky while I am watching TV, so I am taking this one slow! This is Lion Brand Chenille "Thick & Quick". Almost done, about 15" to go. Posted by Hello

Pinky

Here is one of my first Crochet projects. It is going to be a pink beenie made out of GGH Soft Kid. It is so soft I just want to rub it on my face every time I touch it!!! Posted by Hello
