Not finished yet
Well, I have not finished my flower for my bag yet. I need to get some straight pins to pin the pattern onto my felted pink fabric. How pathetic is that I have NO straight pins. I am so lame!

"Kell what are your favorite colors?!?!"
Here is what I ended up with...I made the handles for my Sophie bag out of some left over Lambs Pride (from my pink clogs) and I made a square of the pink so I can make a little flower after it is felted.
Now did anyone else get a mini bag after they felted it.... I think I went a little crazy with the felting. My bag is tiny but REALLY cute! I am happy with how it turned out but I think I will watch a little closer next time so I don't end up with an adorable mini purse!
After I took this picture I did some tugging and pulling so now the bag is in a little better shape. I love how the green looks after it was felted!!!

Sophie is Sad!
Okay well I just got back today and I told you all I was going to start my Sophie Bag well I almost finished it. I would have gotten it completely done but....I RAN OUT OF YARN!!! Now normally this would not be a problem but the yarn I was using was some that I had hand dyed and now I don't know what I am going to do....My bag has no handles! Total bummer. Don't the colors of the green look great in the bag...I just hope I can copy that color combo with more yarn.

I am hopeing to get a few projects done while I am there, but I am not holding my breath. I think I am going to start my Sophie Bag now that I am in love with felting (hehehe) I want to make everything felted!

Poncho and The Giant Shoe!
Look at the fun pattern that I got the other day...yummy, huh? The only problem I have is that it is made with Karabella Aurora Bulky... a wonderfully soft merino wool that costs around 8$ a ball. Well that is not to bad, BUT I have to have 12 balls to make the poncho!!! I think I need to find something else to make it out of...any suggestions?
Look what I finished. Number one of the set of my Fiber Trend clogs!!! This thing is huge, I can't wait to make the other one so I can felt them!!!
Here is my size 11 (in woman's USA sizes) shoe next to my mammoth slipper clog...I hope the felting job works or I am going to have to find a giant that really likes pink! Gosh, I need to wash my sneakers!
